World of Nova - Iron Wolves Insights Pt1 -

The Iron Wolves or Wolfen as other Races refer to them are one of the many races that inhabit Nova, crafted by the gods in time of war, the Wolfen were made to be resilient and sturdy and able to wield the many weapons their god crafted.

PHYSIOLOGY

The Wolfen are humanoid wolf like creatures of tall build, their fur usually has a broad range of colors, all wolfen share similar yellow or orange eye color, but perhaps the most defining aspect of the physiology its their partially metallic skeleton, while this makes the wolfen not as mobile and also terrible swimmers it give them incredible resilience and toughness this paired with their signature heavy armor makes them particularly tough, their metallic skeleton ist also tied to their increased affinity with lighting magic, some wolfens have even been know to use lighting magic to magnetize their bones in order to catch metallic objects or to deflect attacks.

CULTURE

The Wolfen are heavily militaristic, they are great blacksmiths, and wonderful fortress builders, after the Dragon War was over the Wolfen established outposts all over the continent and became the self appointed peacekeepers of Nova using their military might to quell any possible conflict brewing between other races and while they have strong alliances with some of the other races many races are growing cautious of the wolfen military might, within the wolfen empire there is also discontent regarding the wolfen policies, many believe rather than meddling in other races problems they should be focusing on their own problems, keeping such a large army and som many outpost its spreading the nation resources thin, many believe that the Wolfen Nation its at the verge of an Civil War.
